Boldt worked for U.S. Silica on their new 500 acre site in Sparta, Wisconsin. The plans for this project consisted of constructing a wet plant, cyclone tower, drying plants and a storage building. Boldt self-performed the concrete, masonry and steel erection on this project. To start, Boldt installed the conveyors, completed the foundation and the slab on grade for the wet plant, administration building and the cyclone tower. To finish, Boldt completed the masonry block on the wet plant, erected the precast panels and structural steel and completed the administration pre-engineered metal building.
