Aurora BayCare Medical Center ~ Pediatric Build Out

Green Bay, Wisconsin

Project Description

In order to meet the needs of their community, Aurora BayCare Medical Center expanded their pediatrics department. They partnered with UW Health to create a state-of-the art facility. The new area provides a wide range of pediatric services including children's cardiology, digestive health, urology, orthopedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, therapy, nephrology and pulmonology. The build out that is 20,160 sq. ft. in size includes a lab, radiology room, 24 exam rooms and three procedure rooms. This area is specially designed just for children with unique features such as a palm tree made from dry wall that is displayed at the check in and out area, making visits to the doctor fun and memorable in ocean, desert and jungle themed spaces.

Innovation
In meeting the demand of the schedule with design beginning in July, an August construction start and a completion date of December first. The Boldt project team coordinated double shifts to complete the project on time to the owner.
