Project Description
The NWTC Marinette Campus facility was in a need of student engagement spaces and increased student support services to enhance the retention and completion metrics in the region. In addition to these needs, program growth in health sciences, business and information technology and trades and engineering technology required more space than what was currently allotted to each program.
The project involved renovating 68,000 sq. ft. of the existing facility and three separate additions equaling approximately 14,000 sq. ft. Boldt Technical Services provided design services from Schematic Design through Construction Documentation and Construction Administration.
Through the design processes, the health sciences program was positioned in one of the larger additions to facilitate its needs for specific equipment and tools. This allowed the other programs (i.e. trades and engineering technologies) to expand into those vacated spaces to facilitate their needs and programs.
