Skilled Trades

The skilled trades are critical to the construction industry. They can also provide a satisfying career that pays well, offers great benefits and is always in demand. To get started in the trades, you’ll need a high school diploma or GED. Starting as an apprentice, you’ll earn a living while you learn the trade. And your employer or union will often cover the cost of your job-specific education while you earn paid, on-the-job experience.
