With more than 30 years of experience in project and divisional leadership, Dave has proven himself a valuable asset to Boldt customers throughout the United States.

To put it simply, Dave is an innovator. He was a strong proponent of Lean and integrated philosophies well before they entered the construction industry. His expertise was instrumental in the development and implementation of Boldt’s proprietary Integrated Lean Project Delivery® (ILPD) method and he was deeply involved in negotiating Boldt’s first relational contract.

Dave has been involved in some of the company’s largest, most complex projects. He currently leads our Western Operations and is actively involved in the further refinement and development of our ILPD process—further illustrating his belief that the Boldt customer relationship goes beyond mere transactions to those of trust. Whether it be strategic planning, contract negotiations or risk management, Dave’s strong business acumen coupled with his experience in innovative project execution uniquely positions him to lead your next project.

Dave holds a B.S. in construction administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is actively involved in several national and international professional construction organizations and associations.

Integrated Lean Project Delivery

Throughout his career, Dave has held both field and management positions across every market sector. He has worked on some of the most complex projects ever undertaken by The Boldt Company, developing ways to implement and integrate Lean methods throughout all phases of the construction process. His amassed knowledge in IPD contract negotiations and Lean helped pioneer Boldt’s proprietary Integrated Lean Project Delivery® (ILPD) method. Today, he is a distinguished and respected thought leader on the subject.
