Women’s and Children’s Center

Sacramento, CA

As part of its $735 million plan to combine a range of acute health care services into a single state-of-the-art medical campus, network provider Sutter Health is building Sacramento's Anderson Lucchetti Center, an integrated women's and pediatric care facility.

Designed to become one of northern California's leading acute services facilities, the 214-bed, eight-story, 395,241 sq. ft. Center is slated for completion in 2013.

Boldt is leading through roles as construction manager and general contractor, enhancing efficiency and value through Integrated Lean Project Delivery® (ILPD) and 3-D Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes. With ILPD and BIM, productivity is maximized, while cost overruns and production delays are reduced and in some instances, eliminated altogether.

Once completed, the Anderson Lucchetti Center will provide conventional maternity services integrated with the healing arts. A birthing center is to be complemented by neonatal and intensive care services, as well as pediatric cardiac, neurosurgery and cancer care services. Due to is location, Boldt is also making certain all elements of the project meet California's current California earthquake constructability regulations.
