St. Paul's Lutheran Church

Addition & Remodel

Wisconsin Rapids, WI

The new St. Paul's church is a shining example of the way in which effective collaboration among church building committees, a congregation and the construction team can maximize value and protect budgets.

While volunteer parishioners were removing fencing and trees to prepare the site, Boldt was planning for success. We researched sites and designs, and provided the congregation with more than 30 alternatives to help select the most effective cost combination.

As construction manager and general contractor, we worked with architects Design Unlimited on this methodical approach to expedite a best-value solution and sharing of knowledge.

The result is a new 20,965 sq. ft. addition that houses a gymnasium, cafeteria, restrooms, and space for future classrooms and offices. We also remodeled 26,691 sq. ft. of existing offices, a kitchen, classrooms and office space, and upgraded areas of the sanctuary and existing gymnasium, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
