Key Points:

It was very important to St. Joseph's that all updates would blend with the historic look of the original church. Integrating such features as "weathered" tumbled bricks and adding Gothic heads with spandrel glass above double-hung windows allowed us to maintain a period-correct look while providing needed updates.

Addition and Remodel

Appleton, WI

When St. Joseph's needed more space to accommodate congregation activities, they looked to Boldt in a design/build role to create an addition that blended in with the existing church, while also offering modern, efficient amenities.

Despite an outwardly traditional appearance, the new three-level structure offers contemporary, energy-efficient spaces inside. The new area includes 13 meeting rooms, restaurant-quality kitchen facilities, a computer area, restrooms, an elevator and handicap accessibility throughout.

Existing office spaces and meeting rooms also received new heating, air conditioning and electrical systems, while additional space allows St. Joseph's to continue its mission of serving all who choose to come to worship.
