Medical Clinic Addition and Renovation

Shawano , WI

Shawano Medical Center engaged Boldt to assist them in their Medical Clinic Addition and Renovation.  Phase I of the project consisted of a 22,700 sq. ft. building addition for an attached outpatient clinic. Phase II is the remodel of an additional 8,500 sq. ft. for ambulatory surgery. The facility is designed as a Planetree Hospital/ Clinic emphasizing patient dignity; homelike, healing atmosphere and connection to nature. The addition consisted of space for Riverside Clinic and included:

  • Integrated hospital and clinic registration, private registration
  • A four to five doctor clinic with expansion capability to ten doctors
  • New hospital entry and lobby, facing the river
  • Six exam rooms for specialty clinic doctors
  • A new cardiac rehab,
  • Phlebotomy (patient blood draw with private stations)
  • A gift shop
  • Two additional small public meeting rooms were also added and located on the ground floor
