The new middle school was built as a turn-key project with data/voice and furniture installed. It has a concrete masonry unit and steel structure with a standing seam metal roof and concrete floors.

When enrollment began to grow at Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public Schools, the district saw a growing need for an additional school as well. In response, the district turned to Boldt to construct a new middle school—relying on Boldt’s extensive experience building educational facilities in the Oklahoma area.
The resulting facility, Choctaw Middle School, is a 109,000-sq.-ft. building featuring 40 classrooms, media center, computer and science labs, cafeteria, kitchen and music, technical education and tornado rooms.
Of the project, District Superintendent Dr. Jim McCharen said, “We are very excited to see the new middle school come up out of the ground. This facility is long overdue and we believe that it will not only be a great source of pride for the school district, the students and the staff, but a great source of pride to the entire community of Choctaw as well.”
Boldt completed the facility in time for the 2011-2012 school year and is proud to have helped the district meet its needs and continue its growth.
