Bellin College

New Campus Building

Bellevue, WI

The Bellin College building project required a blend of leading-edge construction management with respect for the area's natural surroundings. The 17.5-acre site included wetlands that dictated building location and runoff, to avoid disturbing its natural environment.

As construction manager, Boldt used its Integrated Lean Project Delivery® method, along with target costing to help Bellin remain within budget parameters. Working alongside architects McMahon Group, we met weekly with the project owner and subcontractors to review the design process, budget and schedule.

This continuous collaboration resulted in a new 73,000 sq. ft. building with health assessment and practice labs, radiology rooms, five new classrooms, office areas, a large atrium with study balconies, food area, computer resource center, library, and exercise and wellness center.

Bellin's new two-story building, which was completed in less than one year and in time to mark the college's 100th anniversary, allows the college to double its enrollment and offer students a broad range of career choices.
