Additions and Renovations

Bartlesville, OK

Driven by increased enrollment, the Bartlesville school district found itself in need of additional learning spaces at six of its schools. Because work had to be completed during the school year, safety was the number one priority on this project, leading the district to choose Boldt to serve as construction manager.

We went to work putting significant safety precautions in place, including safety barriers and structures that allowed students and faculty to safely enter and exit buildings. Working with Ambler Architects, we built a steel and masonry elementary school addition that uses natural light throughout classrooms and common areas, and renovated another with new HVAC equipment, lighting and doors.

Other elements of the project include a multipurpose facility with a practice field and batting cages, a mid-high school addition that incorporates courtyard seating and a stage, and a new high school locker room that began as a pre-engineered metal building and includes an energy-saving insulation system that prevents fall-through.
