Appleton Alliance Church has experienced massive growth over recent years and found its current facility was no longer big enough for its growing community—a welcome problem for church leaders.
The church decided to expand and chose Boldt to serve as construction manager for the project because of Boldt’s experience in religious facility construction, its ties to the local community and its unique approach to construction management. Boldt was heavily involved in the preconstruction phase of the project, which included coordinating meetings with local residents and officials.
Major aspects of the 120,000-sq.-ft. expansion, designed by architect Progressive AE, include an 1,800-seat worship center, gymnasium, athletic fields and an expanded Discovery Land.
