Boldt was the erection subcontractor for the foundations, 21 Vestas V 82, 1.65 MW turbines and towers. As the erection subcontractor to RMT, we provided the labor, project supervision and four cranes needed for tower erection, attaching blades and nacelle and rotor installation.

Boldt coordinated the daily delivery of the turbines to the site (scheduling, site locations and interfacing with the turbine component trucking company). Boldt was also responsible for the inspection and off-loading of all turbine components, which included the four turbine tower sections, hub, three blades, nacelle and VPM.

  • Boldt coordinated with the local utility (Franklin County REC) to manage electrical line drops for crane movement between sites.
