Sierra Club Honors Boldt with 2011 Torchbearer Award

Wisconsin’s John Muir Chapter of the Sierra Club recently presented The Boldt Company with the 2011 Torchbearer Award at the club’s annual Autumn Assembly. According to the club, Boldt was chosen as the award recipient because of its decision makers who consistently promote legislation, regulations or practices that protect the environment.

CEO Tom Boldt, who accepted the award, said, "We’ve made conservation a priority at Boldt and I’m proud of the company’s enthusiasm in adapting new sustainable practices. Receiving this award from such an influential and long-standing organization is a great honor."
