Mining

For over 30 years, Boldt has provided construction services to the North American mining industry including working in taconite plants across Northern Minnesota and Upper Michigan. The scope of Boldt’s work in the industry has been diverse; completing everything from daily maintenance and efficiency/emissions upgrades to planned shutdowns, line restarts and capital projects.

More recently, as the industry has looked to adopt new ferrous technology and develop non-ferrous precious minerals such as copper and nickel, Boldt has used conceptual planning expertise to help customers conduct feasibility analysis, conceptual budgeting, construction planning, workforce forecasts and evaluation of labor resources for new major greenfield mines and plants.

Boldt’s mining team has been around the block once or twice—with an average of 20 years of experience, this group can handle just about anything ranging from pre-planning shutdowns using Lean scheduling and accurately budgeting small and major capital projects to installing new equipment and enhancing maintenance reliability and start-up time.

Our expert team uses their experience to meet and exceed owners’ expectations and needs, no matter how hard the project. Crushers, concentrator lines, pellet plants, loadout facilities, just about anything—no problem.
