An Emphasis on Teamwork and Collaboration
As a successful program management firm, BCS must view all project decisions from the Owner’s perspective while managing the goals and priorities of each team member. We have successfully managed projects ranging from $20 million expansions and renovations to $600 million campus building programs. We are confident in our abilities to create a cohesive team and believe our ability to communicate effectively is evidenced by our client references and relationships with other firms.
The BCS approach emphasizes teamwork and collaboration. We strongly advocate assembling the entire project team as early in the process as possible. The architects and engineers should be heavily involved in the early planning process to ensure the client’s goals and objectives are carried through the design. The construction manager should be actively involved in the planning process, providing critical feedback to the client and the design team regarding constructability, phasing and budget issues.
Throughout this process, BCS is responsible for maintaining a number of program management tools that are critical to a project’s seamless progression. Examples of these tools include: Comprehensive Issues List, Project Enhancement List, Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget. |
