Project Description
BCS was engaged by Fleming County Hospital to provide program management services for its replacement hospital. BCS was engaged early in the planning process and led the process to establish the program and budget for the new facility. The 97,000 square foot facility will be a full service hospital and will be developed immediately adjacent to the existing facility. BCS facilitated the selection of the project team, including the architect, construction manager and other consultants, has provided input as the hospital has arranged the financing of the new facility, and is providing complete program management services for the duration of the project.

Facilitate the Certificate of Need (C.O.N.) process for project approval
Land acquisition required to support future hospital growth
Facilitate the plan review process with the Hospital, Hospital’s Attorney, Rural Development and other lenders
Very remote location resulting in various construction challenges
Financing is through U.S.D.A. Rural Development

Facilitate the selection of local and national A/E and C/M firms to meet the remote needs of Fleming County Hospital
Assist with the land acquisition next to existing hospital for future growth
Support completion of all necessary paperwork and understand protocol to be in compliance with CON and Rural Development
Updated and revised master plan to take full advantage of site for future growth
Integrate existing Medical Arts building into overall site plan
