Project Description
BCS recently provided program management services for the $45 million expansion and renovation of Clinton Memorial Hospital. The new expansion components include the addition of a same day surgery center with five operating rooms, emergency department and lab. A three-story, 72-bed inpatient tower and a four-story atrium connect the new and existing buildings. The renovation includes replacing air handling units, chillers and boilers along with renovating space for a sleep lab, rehab, gift shop and cath lab. The project was originally begun without a program manager, but BCS was engaged when budget and schedule difficulties arose.
Since completing the expansion, BCS has been retained to prepare a master facility plan and provide program management services for a variety of small projects, including an emergency department renovation, an overhaul of the HVAC system for the surgery department, the build-out of a professional office building, and the development of a new integrated cancer center.
